Zalla will host an official Yellow campus from 29 June to 3 July
Villarreal CF continue to expand their horizons and, for the first time in their history, arrive in Euskadi with a new venue for their summer Campus. The town of Zalla, in Bizkaia, joins the club’s national map to offer young footballers a unique experience based on the methodology of one of the benchmark clubs in Spanish football.
This new campus is created with the aim of bringing Villarreal CF’s training model to new territories, alongside FUTEVO Academy, a partner organisation that contributes its experience in sports education to ensure the proper development of the activity, while maintaining the essence that has made its training programmes a reference point in grassroots football in Euskadi. Over several days, participants will experience first-hand how the Yellows Academy trains, working on technical and tactical aspects, as well as the fundamental values of sport.
The Villarreal Campus in Zalla is aimed at boys and girls aged seven to 17 who want to improve their football level in a professional environment, always under the supervision of qualified coaches and following a plan adapted to each age group. The sessions will be designed to enhance the player’s all-round development, combining learning, fun and team-mateship.
In addition to the work on the pitch, participants will enjoy a complete experience that includes official kit, personalised monitoring, private medical coverage, daily nutrition and hydration services, and a certificate upon completion, making the campus an unforgettable experience.
With this new venue in Bizkaia, Villarreal CF strengthen their commitment to the growth of grassroots football at a national level, bringing their methodology and values to new areas of the country. The Yellow Submarine continue to develop young talent and share their passion for football beyond Vila-real.
In addition, being part of the Campus may open the door to new opportunities, as two players will be selected to take part in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer 2027, a unique experience in which they can continue to showcase their talent.
