From July 13 to 17, the Yellow Submarine strengthens its bond with Mallorca and continues its commitment to Balearic talent
Villarreal Club de Fútbol returns this summer to Mallorca with a new edition of the Villarreal CF Camp in Santanyí, in collaboration with CE Santanyí, following the excellent reception of its previous visit to the island.
From July 13 to 17, the Camp Municipal de Santanyí will once again become a meeting point for young footballers looking to continue their development in a high-level training environment.
The continuity of the camp in Santanyí further strengthens Villarreal CF’s bond with the Balearic Islands, a region that in recent years has become a key area within the club’s player development and talent identification strategy.
In this regard, the work carried out on the island has already produced success stories within the club’s structure, such as Moussa Traoré, who was identified in 2021 through Villarreal CF camps in Mallorca and is currently part of the Villarreal C and U19 (Juvenil A) setup, having also featured in the club’s historic UEFA Youth League campaign.
In addition, the camp continues to serve as a pathway to future opportunities, as several participants will be selected to take part in experiences linked to the club, such as the prestigious Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, one of the key showcases of Villarreal’s youth football project.
The camp will be coordinated and supervised by coaches from the Cantera Grogueta, focusing on the players’ technical, tactical, and physical development, while also reinforcing the core values that define Villarreal CF’s identity.
