Two weeks of training and togetherness that became a true cultural and sporting exchange

Villarreal CF have brought their first stay in Wenzhou to a close with a hugely positive assessment. What began as an exciting challenge has turned into a truly enriching experience, both on a sporting and cultural level, leaving unforgettable memories for everyone involved in the project.

The young participants enjoyed intense days of football, but also moments of camaraderie that went beyond the pitch. The Yellow Submarine’s methodology travelled all the way to China not only in the form of training sessions, but also through values such as respect, effort and teamwork, which were eagerly embraced by the boys and girls.

The atmosphere during these weeks could not have been better. The sessions were full of energy and commitment, while the final tournament became a true grassroots football celebration, where enthusiasm and sporting spirit reigned supreme. A festival that, in every detail, reflected what the Yellows Academy stands for.

Collaboration with Asia Sport Connection was key in making this project a reality. Thanks to this joint effort, Villarreal have been able to bring their youth development model closer to new generations in China, while at the same time experiencing first-hand the passion for football that is lived there.

In Wenzhou, Villarreal CF have taken a decisive step forward in their international strategy. An initiative that, beyond the sporting side, reflects the commitment of Villarreal CF Camps and Tournaments to training young talents, transmitting values and promoting cultural exchange through footbal
