The Teruel club joins the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.
It is a reality! Atlético Teruel CF unleashes the popular craze by confirming its participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter, the international youth soccer championship organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol to be held from April 17 to 20 in one of the most innovative sports venues in Spain, the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.
The entity, which was created 12 years ago in Teruel, in the south of Aragon, arose with the clear objective of training players and bringing out all the talent that was 'hidden' in the city. The club is a space to train boys and girls in soccer, but always preserving education and human values.
The Teruel youth academy has been home to many players who, over time, have played for the Aragonese national team in different categories and have made the step to the best national youth academies. Examples such as Juan Hernández, Marcos Jarque and Andrés Popescu, who currently play for FC Barcelona, Villarreal CF and Valencia CF, respectively, are role models for all young players and a source of pride for the club.
The participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter reaffirms the club's commitment to youth soccer, strengthens its ties with Vila-real and presents a unique opportunity for young people from Teruel to enjoy the best youth soccer in a top-level venue.
