Almost 200 youngsters wear Yellow in Vila-real and Berja (Almería) while enjoying football this Christmas 

Villarreal CF brought the latest edition of the Christmas Campus to a close on Wednesday after two sessions held at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza. Neither rain nor cold dampened the enthusiasm and passion for football shown by the nearly 130 participants, who pulled on the groguet shirt to enjoy an unforgettable experience and continue developing their footballing skills during the Christmas holidays.

Held across two sessions, Villarreal CF’s Christmas Campus proved to be a fantastic opportunity to have fun, practise sport and make new friends while wearing the colours of their team and training at top-level facilities. The sessions were led by coaches from the Cantera Grogueta, following the Yellow club’s sporting methodology.

Surprise visit from Mikautadze, Pepe and Oluwaseyi

As a fitting finale, the Christmas Campus participants were treated to a surprise visit from three Yellow Submarine stars. First-team players Georges Mikautadze, Nicolas Pepe and Tani Oluwaseyi stopped by after the morning training session to meet the youngsters, take photos with them and sign autographs.

The Villarreal CF Christmas Campus also took place away from Vila-real. In the Almerían town of Berja, seventy participants enjoyed the same sporting experience, bringing the total number of youngsters involved to almost 200 this Christmas thanks to the groguet campus. Christmas once again turns Yellow with Villarreal CF and a campus that continues to grow.
