The first teams have settled into their accommodations and are finalizing preparations for an afternoon that will bring all participants together on the pitch at the Estadio de la Cerámica.
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter 2026 is already buzzing with activity as teams gradually arrive and check into their respective accommodations at the tournament venues. From early morning, squads from various regions have begun settling in, getting a taste of the atmosphere that will define the coming days.
This edition brings together teams from 13 Spanish autonomous communities and 11 countries, creating a unique blend of cultures and playing styles. Clubs such as Abovyan Academy from Armenia and Foydath from New Zealand highlight the diversity that will be experienced throughout the event.
These arrivals serve as the perfect prelude to one of the tournament’s most anticipated moments. This afternoon, all 268 participating teams will gather at the Estadio de la Cerámica for the official opening ceremony.
Starting at 7:30 PM, teams will parade across the pitch, receive their medals, and take part in a collective celebration marking the start of the tournament. During the ceremony, attendees will also enjoy a live performance by saxophonist Ian Ferrando, featured in a special moment of the event, adding a musical highlight to an afternoon designed to be unforgettable for all participants.
