The English school enjoys a Training Camp at the Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa.
Christ's College Guildford is a secondary school located in Guildford, one of the most important cities in the south of England, capital of the county of Surrey. The school is characterised by its Christian education and its fully inclusive teaching that allows children to develop through five basic pillars: love, cooperation, co-responsibility, respect and service. These values are the core on which the school is built and permeate all the work that happens, whether inside or outside its classrooms.
The expedition, which includes 28 players aged between 12 and 15, arrived yesterday at the Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa to kick off the exciting and educational Training Camp organised by Villarreal Club de Fútbol.
The players from Christ's College Guilford arrived full of enthusiasm and excitement, and they carried out a double training session in the afternoon under the Villarreal Club de Fútbol methodology, one of the most cutting-edge at national level. Today, after another training session in the morning, the members of the expedition received an official personalised diploma accrediting them as participants of the Training Camp.
The last event of the day took place at the home ground of the 'groguet' team: the Estadio de la Cerámica. The English school was lucky enough to visit the Villarreal Immersion Museum & Tour, which gave them a closer look at what Villarreal Club de Fútbol is and what it means, from its origins to winning a European title.
It is an honour to collaborate in the football and personal growth of hundreds of young people from all over the world; football unites us.
