The youngsters from Sakuyo High School (Tsuyama, Japan) have landed this morning in Vila-real to start their Training Camp that will take place today, tomorrow and the day after at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza. The expedition, formed by 34 players belonging to two U-16 teams of the school, has arrived with the maximum illusion and enthusiasm.
The Japanese club puts a lot of emphasis on touch football and possession control, so training under Villarreal Club de Fútbol's methodology will provide them with an improvement in all aspects. On a sunny day and in an unbeatable setting, the programme kicked off with a training match between Sakuyo High School and Villarreal's cadet team. The match was held in a fun and entertaining atmosphere and left flashes of quality on both sides.
Tomorrow and the day after, the young Japanese will undergo several training sessions with the Cantera Grogueta staff and will receive an official diploma accrediting them as participants of the Training Camp, a programme that unites cultures and methodologies from all over the world. At the end, the players will have the opportunity to visit the Estadio de la Cerámica and go on the Tour to immerse themselves in the more than 100 years of history that have made Villarreal Club de Fútbol one of the best football clubs in Spain.
