BLESSED TRINITY COLLEGE

Thursday, 12 June 2025 09:00

The Irish school has fun at its Training Camp.

Blessed Trinity College is a school based in Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland. The British school offers a youth-centred education where everyone is valued and treated equally. In an egalitarian, positive and supportive environment, students strive for academic, moral and social excellence, promoting values such as respect, inclusion and personal growth.

The Irish expedition, made up of 43 players from 3 U14 teams two mixed and one male, landed in Vila-real this Wednesday and, as soon as they arrived, they were welcomed at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza by the Cantera Grogueta staff, with whom they got to know the facilities and started their Training Camp in a first training session full of fun, concepts and level.

After two hours of football, the students had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of the Yellow Submarine through the Tour of the Estadio de la Cerámica, where they toured every corner of the groguet stadium and learned about the more than 100 years of history that make Villarreal CF a reference club in national football.

On the second day of the programme, the Blessed Trinity College teams have carried out a new training session under the methodology of Villarreal Club de Fútbol in which they have explored technical and tactical concepts and have worked at a motor level under the guidance of the 'groguets' coaches, who have provided a different vision to the one known by the British. In addition, to round off the experience and to take away a souvenir, all the players received an official personalised diploma accrediting them as participants in the Training Camp.

This type of initiative not only strengthens the links between clubs, but also allows young people to broaden their horizons, share cultures and discover new ways of understanding football.
