Unión Deportiva Coromoto debuts in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.

Who was going to tell the founders who, altruistically, created UD Coromoto that their players were going to prepare to compete in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter? Well, it's a reality! The Tenerife team will play for the first time in one of the most important tournaments of national base soccer organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol.

UD Coromoto was born in 1993 in the Coromoto neighborhood, in the city of San Cristobal de La Laguna, in the northeast of the island of Tenerife. The creation of the club arose from the need found by a group of lovers of the king of sports for the sports training of the boys and girls of the area. This school began without funding or means, simply with the idea of using soccer as a way to contribute to the integral development of the people of Laguna.

The passing of time has allowed the 'vikings' to become a reference club in Tenerife's base soccer, achieving an agreement with Unión Deportiva Las Palmas, a consolidated club in LaLiga EA Sports. They have created a sports structure with qualified technical staff that, through an innovative training methodology, trains and educates youngsters from pre-benjamin to youth categories.

The emotion is evident and is that the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter is a prize for the work and values that, for years, the UD Coromoto has transferred to hundreds of soccer players on the island of Tenerife.
