Levante UD does not miss its usual date with the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.
Levante Unión Deportiva, founded in 1909, is one of the clubs with the longest history in the Spanish first division. In its beginnings, the club from Orriols bet on the training of young players as a pillar of its sporting structure and nowadays they are proving to be one of the best entities in the international youth base soccer scene. Beyond the successes achieved on the pitch, the blue and red team are also a benchmark in terms of values, work and methodology.
The ‘Granotas’, the oldest club in the city of Valencia, are a regular participant in tournaments organized by Villarreal CF. Levante UD was proclaimed champion of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter 2024 in the U-16 youth and women's categories. It was also runner-up in four other age groups and managed to bring two MVP awards and three pichichis to the capital of Turia.
The youth academy, the heart of the club, has set itself apart as a benchmark in sports training, but also as a mechanism for promoting diversity, inclusion, teamwork and self-improvement.
Levante UD arrives at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza with the objective of, at least, matching the results of the previous year and bringing the quality and identity of the blue and red team.
Matxo Llevant!
