The AELU will be for the second consecutive year in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.
The Peruvian youth team comes to Vila-real to represent the values of the 'nikkei' community.
The AELU (Estadio La Unión Association) repeats participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter, the prestigious international youth soccer tournament organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol. The team from Lima already showed last year what they are capable of at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, where they qualified as second in the GOLD group. The Peruvian team, in a very tight match, lost by the minimum (1-0) against CDO Marítima de Lanzarote.
The Aeluans, from the district of Pueblo Libre, in the historic heart of the province of Lima, are a 'Nikkei' community (emigrants of Japanese origin) that promotes integration and well-being through sports, recreational, social and cultural activities. They currently have 12,300 members and are recognized as one of the most modern and important sports clubs in the country.
The Estadio La Unión Association, under its motto 'Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body', is defined by defending values such as teamwork, perseverance and respect. At the same time, since its foundation in 1953, it has been a space for new generations to grow up putting community welfare at the center of everything.
The organization has only words of gratitude and is looking forward to seeing them again at the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.
We look forward to seeing you, AELU!
