RSD Santa Isabel joins the international youth soccer party.

The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter awaits the Aragonese club with excitement.

Real Sociedad Deportiva Santa Isabel, founded in 1966, confirms its participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter. The blue and white team comes from the capital of the province of Aragon, Zaragoza, more specifically from the neighborhood of Santa Isabel, as its name suggests.

The Zaragoza-based club began its career in soccer without even having its own stadium; the first matches were played on the fields of the Aragonese Football Federation. In 1971 they achieved a historic milestone for the club that is still remembered today. R.S.D. Santa Isabel was proclaimed Amateur Champion of Aragon beating the historic Numancia de Soria by penalties at La Romareda Stadium.

This crucial moment for the club coincided with the emergence of several youth teams that represented the humility and faith of the neighborhood. The contribution of young talents was increasing and in the 1990-1991 season the Blue and Whites were promoted to the Third Division with a squad made up of 80% of players from the base.

The Aragonese team has been a forerunner in attracting and promoting talent. In the 1980s they were pioneers in the city of Zaragoza in organizing tournaments with national and international teams. Likewise, the entity participated in championships around France and Italy.

Real Sociedad Deportiva Santa Isabel has been working for more than 50 years for the youth of the neighborhood. Now they have the opportunity to leave the name of the club at the top.
