Unión Deportiva Ibiza, originally from the Balearic Islands, has everything ready to set sail for the first time to the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter, the international base soccer tournament organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol during Easter Week. With a short but successful history, the Ibizan team has a clear objective: consolidate its position in Spanish professional soccer.

The sky-blue entity, born on July 31, 2015, is already the most important club in Ibiza, an island with just over 150,000 inhabitants and that until ten years ago had never enjoyed professional soccer in the first person. UD Ibiza managed, in just six years, to go from playing in Ibiza's regional soccer to making its debut in the Second Division against Real Zaragoza in the historic stadium of La Romareda.
