PLAY, FIGHT AND WIN: OLIVER FEELING

Friday, 14 February 2025 11:00

CD Oliver, Villarreal CF partner club, faithful to its appointment with the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter

From Barrio Oliver to Miralcamp! Club Deportivo Oliver will participate one more year in the exciting and prestigious 'Submarino Amarillo' base soccer tournament to be held from April 17 to 20 at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.

The 'azulgrana' entity, founded in 1954, was born as a result of the merger between Sociedad Deportiva Urrutia and Club Deportivo Oliver, two teams that lived together in the Oliver district of Zaragoza. Since its creation, the Aragonese team has been committed to the integral formation of its players, seeking not only sporting growth, but also human and personal growth.

CD Oliver has been characterized throughout its history as an inexhaustible factory of talent. The 'azulgrana' quarry has more than 40 teams with boys and girls from three years old up to a regional team with no age limit. The club has had players of the stature of Manu Morlanes, who currently plays for RCD Mallorca and has played in the youth ranks of Villarreal Club de Fútbol, making his debut with the 'Submarino Amarillo' in La Liga and the Europa League.

The objective of improving both the quality and method of training led CD Oliver to seek external alliances and agreements. For more than 10 years, the Aragonese club has had an agreement with Villarreal Club de Fútbol and several players from the 'azulgrana' youth academy have passed through the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza to demonstrate their ability and talent.

The participation of the Zaragoza club in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter is a new opportunity to continue strengthening ties between the entities, reaffirm the commitment to base soccer and enjoy the potential, enthusiasm and work of the young 'azulgranas'.

Aúpa Oliver!
