CD Tonin joins Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter.
Confirmed! The Club Deportes Tonín will leave for a few days the Parc Esportiu Gran Vía to travel to the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza and participate in the exciting and vibrant Villarreal Club de Fútbol Easter tournament.
CD Tonín was founded in 1980 in Castellón when some parents went to the incipient store of Antonio Navarro Manzanares “Tonín”, former player of CD Castellón and Vall d'Uixó, to buy sports equipment for their children. The owner of the business, who played between the first and second Spanish division for 10 years, was the basis of the project and, since then, the entity has continued its development to become a benchmark in Castellón's base soccer.
Throughout these more than 40 years of history, the club, in a humble way, has been a promoter of soccer among the boys and girls of the city as a model of both soccer and human growth. The result does not matter, but the DNA of Tonín lies in the values that continue to be instilled after four decades: enthusiasm, discipline, companionship and effort. The Castellón youth academy has seen illustrious players such as Gaizka Mendieta or Álex Felip, among others, who have carried the red feeling around the world.
The Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter is the ideal moment for the young players of CD Tonin to show the enthusiasm and commitment that characterizes the club against the best youth teams in the world. Winning is not everything, and learning, growth, play, fun and support is assured, all that remains is to enjoy.
