Ibiza will have a new representative in Vila-real! The AE Santa Gertrudis joins one more year the Easter tournament organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol that will take place from April 17 to 20 at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.

The black-and-white entity was born in Santa Gertrudis de Fruitera, a hamlet in the center of the island of Ibiza that is part of the municipality of Santa Eulalia del Río. Santa Ger, through an agreement with Villarreal CF's Campus and Tournaments department, became a collaborating club and hosted a campus on the island last summer under the methodology and direction of the Yellow Submarine's technical staff.

AE Santa Gertrudis is a youth club. Its firm commitment to training and education has led the club to consolidate its own identity that unites learning and the defense of local values. This philosophy has borne fruit and achieved its first milestone, as one of the players of the base has participated in the Spanish Championship of Autonomous Selections with the Balearic Islands team. Pride and example for future generations.

The Asociació Esportiva Santa Gertrudis comes to Vila-real to continue strengthening ties between entities.
