Agrupación Deportiva Esperanza heads to the Yellow Cup Summer.
Proud to be from "La Espe"! AD Esperanza will take part in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer from June 26 to 29, the end-of-season youth tournament hosted by Villarreal Club de Fútbol. With the Estadio de la Cerámica as its main venue, the event is the perfect way to wrap up the football year in style.
Agrupación Deportiva Esperanza was founded in 1978 in Canillas, a neighborhood in Madrid’s Hortaleza district, located in the eastern part of the city. The club emerged when the neighborhood was still taking shape. As homes were built in the Colonia Virgen de la Esperanza, young football enthusiasts began to appear. This sparked the formation of small local teams and eventually led to the creation of Club Deportivo Esperanza, which later merged with Club Deportivo Rayo Esperanza to become what is now known as AD Esperanza.
The academy is home to over 550 players —from beginners to amateur level— across more than thirty registered teams. With over 44 years of history, the “Verdiblancos” are the true embodiment of base football: full of talent, spirit, and joy.
This won’t be their first time at the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, the Canillas-based club left a strong impression last year. Will they outdo themselves this time?
