UD Paterna confirms its participation in the Yellow Cup Summer.
Together is better! Unión Deportiva Paterna will compete from June 26 to 29 in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, the end-of-season tournament organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol. The event will take place at several venues, with the Estadio de la Cerámica —home of the Yellow Submarine— serving as the main stage.
UD Paterna is a sports academy founded in 2021 in Paterna, a town located in the 'Horta Nord' region, northwest of Valencia, on the banks of the Turia River. The club was born with the aim of offering an alternative for children who love football, but prefer to experience it through fun, learning, and development rather than the pressure of professional competition.
The Valencian academy addresses both social and athletic needs by offering a comprehensive education focused on developing responsible and well-rounded individuals. Core values like teamwork, commitment, solidarity, and camaraderie are present in everything they do.
While each boy and girl is the protagonist of their journey, there is one thing that always comes first: the club. UD Paterna is a social symbol, a way of understanding not just sport, but life itself. Every player contributes for the good of the whole. Sacrifice, responsibility, and hard work are shared by all, just like the fun, celebrations, and achievements.
The young Valencians will leave their training ground, Ciudad Deportiva Viña del Andaluz, to head to Vila-real, where they’ll compete against some of the best youth academies in the world. Will they be able to lift the Submarine?
