Torrent CF joins the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer.

From San Gregorio to the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza! Torrent Club de Fútbol confirms its participation and will be taking part, from 26th to 29th June, in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, the end of season tournament organised by Villarreal Football Club. The competition, which brings together some of the best youth teams in the world, will be played at the Estadio de la Cerámica.

Torrent CF is a centenary club that was founded in 1922 in the metropolitan area of Valencia, specifically in the region of l'Horta Sud, which makes it one of the oldest teams in the Valencia Region. Through a firm sporting structure and a professional and qualified team, the 'taronja' club's youth team has established itself as one of the references in regional football.

Base football in Torrent has 'changed the rules of the game'. The players have a high level of training and methodology that makes them grow on a personal and footballing level, but also creates a sense of belonging and an identity that unites them to the club. The big dream in Horta Sud is to one day wear the orange shirt of the first team.

The women's section of the Torrentino club is synonymous with progress, dedication and fun. This year, the Cadete Valenta and Infantil Valenta teams have achieved promotion to the highest category of women's football in the Valencian Community, setting themselves up as a role model at all levels.

After their participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter, Torrent CF return to Vila-real with their women's section, with the aim of playing great football that will allow them to fight for the Yellow Submarine.
