The Maryland-based side arrives at the groguet tournament after establishing itself as one of the most competitive youth teams in the Mid-Atlantic region.

This summer’s Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer will also feature Saint Mary’s Soccer, one of the strongest and most competitive youth football projects in Maryland (United States).

The American side regularly competes in the highly demanding EDP Regional League, facing some of the best youth teams in the Mid-Atlantic region while maintaining a strong focus on both competition and player development.

Coached by Michael Schwegman, Saint Mary’s Soccer has shown consistent growth in recent seasons, standing out in both league competition and prestigious national tournaments.

One of the team’s biggest achievements came after winning the Top Flight championship at the Copa Villarreal Virginia, confirming the squad’s high competitive level and strong identity against some of the region’s top opposition.

The team is especially recognized for its technical quality, competitive mentality and philosophy centered on the individual and collective development of its players, qualities that have turned the club into a reference within its category.

Now, Saint Mary’s Soccer heads to the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer aiming to continue growing on an international stage and gain further experience against clubs and academies from around the world.
