The upcoming edition of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer will also feature Villarreal Fundación, one of the newest projects connected to the groguet development structure, which began its competitive journey during the current 2025-26 season.

The team has started competing in regional leagues with a model focused on the complete growth of its players, combining local footballers with young athletes who are part of an academic residential program.

All of this is developed under a methodology inspired by the philosophy of Villarreal CF, prioritizing technical development, game understanding, collective growth and personal formation both on and off the pitch.

Despite being a recently created project, Villarreal Fundación is already building a strong identity based on coexistence, learning and constant improvement, using every competition as an opportunity to continue evolving.

Now, the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer will represent a very special experience for the groguet side, which will continue growing against academies and clubs from different countries in one of the biggest international youth football tournaments of the summer.
