The Castellón-based club will take part in the groguet tournament for the third time, strengthening its position as one of the leading youth football academies in the province.

Joventut Almassora CF will once again participate in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, marking its third appearance in the tournament and confirming the steady growth of a project that has become one of the benchmarks of youth football in the province of Castellón.

Founded more than a decade ago, the club is currently enjoying one of the strongest periods in its history. The organization now boasts more than 400 registered players, a structure made up of over twenty youth teams and a thriving grassroots academy, reflecting continuous growth both on and off the pitch.

Much of this progress stems from the club’s firm commitment to youth development. Joventut Almassora has built a methodology focused on the sporting and personal growth of its players, placing great importance on coach education and on creating a unified football identity across all age groups.

The 2025/26 season has brought further positive results for the black-and-white academy, with several teams competing at the top of their respective leagues and a structure that continues to produce talented young players within the regional football landscape. The progress of the club’s top youth teams and the consolidation of the academy at regional level are clear signs of the excellent work carried out in recent years.

After the experiences gained in previous editions, Joventut Almassora returns to the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer eager to continue its development while competing against some of the finest academies and clubs from across Spain and around the world, proudly representing Almassora at one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments of the summer.
