The 33rd Pamesa LALIGA FC Futures National Tournament is ready to kick off. Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa Cerámica, the venue for the competition, hosted the opening ceremony of this exciting event, which will bring together the top U-12 talents from all 20 LaLiga academies. All participating teams paraded onto the pitch before the official speeches took place.
The competition, which begins this Friday and runs until Sunday, is free and open to all fans and families. For the twelfth consecutive season, Vila-real once again becomes the epicentre of youth football in Spain.
Villarreal will face Atlético, Sevilla, Osasuna and Elche in the group stage
Drawn in Group D, Villarreal will face strong opponents such as Atlético de Madrid, Sevilla FC, CA Osasuna and Elche CF. On Friday, the Yellows will aim to qualify among the top 16 academies and reach the round of 16, to be played on Saturday morning.
The quarter-finals will take place on Saturday afternoon, while the semi-finals and final will be held on Sunday morning.
The group stage is structured as follows:
Group A: Real Madrid, Athletic Club, Getafe CF, Real Sociedad and Levante UD
Group B: Real Betis, RCD Espanyol, RC Celta, Girona FC and RCD Mallorca
Group C: FC Barcelona, Valencia CF, Rayo Vallecano, Deportivo Alavés and Real Oviedo
Group D: Atlético de Madrid, Villarreal CF, Sevilla FC, CA Osasuna and Elche CF
As hosts, Villarreal will play the opening match against Elche CF.
