FBCD Catarroja will once again participate in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, making its second appearance in the international tournament and proving that passion for football always finds a way forward.

Founded in 1973 in the Valencian region of L’Horta Sud, the club was created with a clear purpose: to use sport as an educational tool capable of developing people as well as footballers. Since then, generations of players have grown under the club’s blue and white colors, building an identity based on commitment, hard work and belonging.

Over more than five decades, the club has become a respected reference in Valencian grassroots football, where sporting development always goes hand in hand with education, respect and enthusiasm.

Recent years have not been easy for the club. Like many community-based organizations, FBCD Catarroja has faced difficult moments that tested the strength of its football family. Yet instead of giving up, the club responded with determination, rebuilding itself and showing the fighting spirit that forms part of its DNA.

That warrior mentality will be on display once again from June 25th to 28th when the team competes in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer. Its young footballers will proudly represent a club that has learned to rise above adversity and continues looking to the future with optimism and ambition.

Because some teams compete to win matches, while others also represent a way of understanding football. FBCD Catarroja belongs firmly to the latter.
