JUVENTUD 25 DE SEPTIEMBRE WOMEN'S TEAM WILL BRING A STORY OF RESILIENCE AND HOPE TO THE VILLARREAL YELLOW CUP SUMMER

Sunday, 07 June 2026 20:00

The historic club from Rubí will take part in the tournament with a women's team, representing the legacy of an organization born from solidarity and transformed into a symbol of identity for generations of footballers.

Much more than football! Juventud 25 de Septiembre will write a new chapter in its remarkable history by participating in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer with one of its women's teams. A presence that will allow the Catalan club to share in Vila-real the values that have defined the organization since its foundation: hard work, solidarity, commitment and community spirit.

Few clubs can boast such a unique origin. Juventud 25 de Septiembre was founded in 1968 in the neighborhood that bears the same name in Rubí, created as a tribute to the victims of the devastating floods that struck the Vallès Occidental region on September 25, 1962. From that tragedy emerged a neighborhood built on solidarity and, a few years later, a football club that would become one of its most cherished symbols.

Since then, the club has grown while remaining faithful to its roots. What began as the dream of a group of young people with very limited resources to play football has evolved into one of Rubí's most important sporting and social institutions. A club that has accompanied thousands of boys and girls throughout the decades and continues to promote a philosophy based on inclusion, equal opportunities and education through sport.

The participation of its women's team in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer is a reflection of that constant evolution. The growth of women's football within the club demonstrates its commitment to providing opportunities for female players to develop, compete and enjoy the game in a positive and supportive environment.

Today, Juventud 25 de Septiembre's facilities remain a key hub for grassroots football and have also gained national visibility by hosting the activities of Ronin CF, the club created by Ibai Llanos that competes in the Kings League and has found in Rubí an ideal location to develop part of its sporting project.

Now, Juventud 25 de Septiembre arrives at the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer eager to create new memories and experiences for its players. Because if this club has proven anything throughout more than half a century of history, it is that the greatest victories are not always measured by results, but by the ability to bring people together through football.

From a neighborhood born out of a devastating flood to one of the most prestigious youth football tournaments of the summer, this is a story of resilience, identity and passion for the game that will continue to be written on the pitches of the Yellow Cup Summer.
