Confirmed! Club Deportivo Almazora says yes and will be, from the 17th to the 20th of April, in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter, the fashionable tournament of formative football organized by Villarreal Club de Fútbol. This event, full of talent and fun, will be held during Easter week at the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza.
From the 'Garrofera' to the current Campo José Manuel Pesudo. CD Almazora was born in 1914, more than 100 years ago, in the southeast of the province of Castellón, in the Plana Alta region. The Albinegro team is a reference point in the province as far as the youth system is concerned, as training is at the heart of everything.
The Castellón team has 20 teams with more than 300 children, spread across all categories, from pre-benjamin to senior. In addition, it has an U23 team that gives the opportunity to all the youngsters coming out of the youth academy to show their talent and to be able to continue enjoying what they like most, playing football. In the 2022-23 season, after much effort, they formed their first women's football team, allowing girls from the province to experience the beautiful game from the inside.
This year is a special one for the club, as for the first time their municipal fields of Jose Manuel Pesudo and Les Boqueres will be official venues of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Easter. The tournament and the club have a lot in common, especially the love for the sport and youth football.
Club Deportivo Almazora is all enthusiasm and excitement. Their participation in the Yellow Submarine competition is the result of years of hard work, effort and dedication. Can the almassorinos emerge as champions?
