ED Javalí Viejo - La Ñora makes its debut in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer.
Confirmed! The ED Javalí Viejo - La Ñora joins the line-up for the end of season competition organised by Villarreal Club de Fútbol. The tournament will take place from 26th to 29th June in some of the best national sports facilities, including the Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza and the Estadio de la Cerámica.
ED Javalí Viejo - La Ñora is a club of Murcian origin that was born on the left bank of the Segura River, in the districts that give its name to the entity. La Ñora is a municipality with an area of no more than 3 km² and a population of around 5,000 inhabitants. Close behind is Javalí Viejo, where there are barely 3,000 people in the 4.27 km² that make up the town.
However, football has always been present in the life of its neighbours, since 1910 the king of sports has been played in El Pino. Now, more than a hundred years later, it is the young people of the districts who keep this passion alive and enjoy the Javalí Viejo - La Ñora Sports School.
The Murcian entity was born with the aim of offering young people from neighbouring towns a team in which to have fun and grow up playing football. The club currently plays in the 2nd Autonomous Region of Murcia and has teams in all categories, from prebenjamín to senior.
Sport is a place where differences fade away. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, because at the starting whistle everything is decided by effort, pride, skill and teamwork. Will the Murcian footballers be the new champions of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer?
