Villarreal Club de Fútbol's end-of-season tournament kicks off.

Let the ball roll! The Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer officially kicked off this morning at its five venues after yesterday's opening party at the Estadio de la Cerámica, where players, supporters and all football fans enjoyed an atmosphere of celebration and excitement as the players from the 172 invited teams waved their colours across the Yellow Submarine's home turf.

The opening whistle has taken place this Friday at 09:00h simultaneously in all fields: Estadio de la Cerámica, Ciudad Deportiva José Manuel Llaneza, Ciudad Deportiva Pamesa Cerámica, CEM Pau Francisco Torres and Ciudad Deportiva FACSA. On a sunny morning, good soccer and young talent were the stars. Throughout the day, several teams were able to enjoy the Villarreal Museum & Tour Immersion, where in a 360º inverse experience, participants were able to learn first-hand about the more than 100 years of history that give meaning to the 'groguet' team.

This year, the base football festival organised by Villarreal CF has broken its record for participation. Fathers, mothers, families and companions have packed the sports venues and have left their voices to carry the youngsters in their arms, creating a fun and exciting atmosphere where respect and good vibes are always the basis of everything. Tomorrow, the tournament will continue with the qualification phase, in which the teams will fight to reach the final rounds. The excitement continues to grow... and it's only just begun!
