The best players from Villarreal CF’s development programs come together at the Yellow Cup Summer 2026

Endavant! The Villarreal CF Campus Selection will once again be part of the Yellow Cup Summer 2026, taking place from June 25th to 28th. This end-of-season tournament, organized by Villarreal CF, will bring together some of the most promising young talents on the international stage in a truly exceptional setting.

The ‘Grogueta’ selection will be made up of players from the club’s different development programs: training camps and technical programs held both at the club’s training ground and in multiple locations across Spain and around the world. All of them have been selected after standing out throughout the season, making this team a true reflection of the global talent promoted by Villarreal CF.

Under the club’s methodology and guided by coaches from the Cantera Grogueta, these players will compete together in a unique experience where they will not only test their footballing level, but also their ability to adapt, live together and grow both as players and individuals.

The Yellow Cup Summer represents much more than just a tournament: it is the meeting point where Villarreal CF’s development work comes to life and where many young players begin to take their first steps towards high performance football. Wearing the yellow shirt and representing the Yellow Submarine in this context is a dream come true.

In the previous edition, the Campus Selection delivered an outstanding performance, becoming champions in U12 (first-year Alevín), winning the Silver Phase in U12 (second-year Alevín) and in the Women’s U16 category, as well as finishing runners-up in the Youth category.

With a new generation ready to compete and make their mark, the big question arises once again: will they be able to surpass last year’s achievements and once again establish themselves among the tournament’s standout teams?
