The Catalan organization will take part in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer with a proposal focused on bringing football closer to young players with fewer opportunities.
From Flix, in the province of Tarragona, Football Starts emerges as a young project that began its journey in March 2023 with a clear purpose: to bring football closer to all those boys and girls who, due to their geographical or social context, have fewer opportunities to access quality sporting experiences. In a short period of time, the organization has started to shape an initiative that focuses on equal opportunities within sport.
The project is built with the intention of progressively expanding into other nearby territories, strengthening its presence in areas far from major urban centers. Football Starts aims to offer its players not only sports training, but also the possibility of experiencing situations that are usually reserved for clubs with greater resources. This vision seeks to reduce the gap between different realities within youth football, creating new opportunities for young talents.
Participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, which will take place from June 25 to 28 across various Villarreal CF venues, represents a significant step in this journey. For Football Starts, debuting in an international tournament of this level means more than competing: it is an opportunity for its players to live an experience similar to that of established teams and continue growing in a demanding and enriching environment.
In this context, the Catalan organization approaches its debut with the aim of continuing to build its project and offering its players a stage where learning, coexistence and competition become key tools for their development.
