The Balearic club will take part in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, strengthening a project that brings together nearly 450 players in Mallorca.
Sporting Ciutat de Palma, from Palma de Mallorca, continues to consolidate its growth within grassroots football in the Balearic Islands. Founded in 2008 following the merger of CD Son Cotoner and CD Parroquia Ramón Llull, the club has developed a solid structure that has allowed it to become one of the island’s leading youth football institutions.
Currently, Sporting has 26 federated teams within the FFIB and nearly 450 players, ranging from pre-benjamín to youth categories, spread across the different branches that make up the project: Sporting Ciutat de Palma, Sporting Atlético Ciutat de Palma, and Sporting Recreativo Ciutat de Palma.
One of the club’s key pillars is its football school, widely recognized locally for its large number of registered players and its strong commitment to sporting, social, and educational development. From its facilities at Camp Municipal Miquel Nadal, the club works on the comprehensive development of its players while promoting the values associated with sport.
Its participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer will represent another opportunity to continue growing in an international competitive environment and further strengthen a project that is becoming increasingly established within Mallorcan grassroots football.
