Atlètic Lleida represents the evolution of a historic project within football in Lleida. Its origins date back to 1926 with the foundation of Club Deportivo Almacellench, an institution that evolved over the decades under different names until consolidating a stable sporting structure within Catalan football.

Over the years, the project grew from amateur football to reach important levels within the regional football landscape, achieving milestones such as promotion to Primera Catalana in 2011. Later, the agreement reached with Club Esportiu Atlètic Lleida, founded in 2019, helped launch a new era marked by modernization and the club’s competitive growth.

In recent years, Atlètic Lleida has strengthened its presence within Catalan football through an ambitious structure and a clear commitment to talent development. The club continues to consolidate its identity in Lleida, working both on the competitive side and on the growth of its grassroots football program.
