Benicarló BF will once again take part in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer following its participation in the 2022 edition, further strengthening its close ties with the Villarreal CF environment and provincial grassroots football.

The club, based in Benicarló, has established itself in recent years as one of the reference academies in the Baix Maestrat area, focusing much of its work on the development of players from the town and the surrounding region. Its sporting structure regularly competes in some of the most demanding youth football divisions in the Valencian Community, maintaining a clear commitment to player development and progressive growth.

One of the project’s key differentiating factors is its independent management structure from CD Benicarló, allowing Benicarló BF to dedicate all of its resources and planning exclusively to grassroots football and youth player development.

In addition, the club has maintained a close relationship with Villarreal CF for many years as an associated club, constantly reinforcing the ties between both organizations. A recent example of this connection is the signing of Yasin Ezaidy by Villarreal’s youth academy, reflecting the development work carried out by the Baix Maestrat-based club. This is also complemented by the regular participation of Benicarló BF players in scouting and talent identification sessions organized by Villarreal CF.

With an increasingly consolidated academy structure and a strong identity within provincial football, Benicarló BF approaches this new participation in the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer aiming to continue growing on an international stage while providing high-level experiences for its young footballers.
