Club Almenara Atlètic will participate in the upcoming edition of the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer, representing one of the fastest-growing youth football projects in the province of Castellón.

Founded in 1970, the club has built a solid and stable sporting structure over the decades in Almenara, a town of around 6,000 inhabitants. Today, the organization has more than 200 players and a structure made up of over 10 teams, maintaining a strong commitment to grassroots football development and to promoting players developed within the club itself.

The club’s growth in recent years has been remarkable, consolidating teams across different categories of Valencian regional football while developing a sporting model based on youth development, stability and realistic planning. In addition, the club has expanded its competitive structure to include fourteen youth teams and two amateur sides competing in federated divisions.

One of the defining characteristics of Almenara Atlètic is its strong local identity. Many of the players come from the town itself or nearby areas, reinforcing the sense of belonging and the connection between the club and its community.

Now, the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer will provide another opportunity for the Castellón-based club to continue growing on an international stage, sharing competition and experiences with some of the most prominent clubs and academies in national and international youth football.
