Participants make their final preparations at their accommodations before gathering this afternoon at the Cerámica Stadium for the ceremony that will officially kick off the competition.

The Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer is already beginning to come alive with the gradual arrival of the participating teams. Since early this morning, delegations have been checking into their respective accommodations in Benicàssim, Oropesa del Mar and Castellón, where they are making their final preparations ahead of the tournament’s official start.

This year's edition will bring together 200 teams from 12 Spanish regions and six countries, further establishing the competition as one of the premier events in grassroots football at both national and international level. Throughout the day, players, coaches and accompanying family members have already begun to enjoy the atmosphere that will define the coming days of competition.

Today's arrivals serve as a prelude to one of the most eagerly anticipated moments of the event. This afternoon, all participants will gather in the square outside the Cerámica Stadium to share the moments leading up to the opening ceremony and begin a truly unique experience.

From 7:30 p.m., the grand opening ceremony will take place. The teams will parade onto the pitch of the Cerámica Stadium, receive their commemorative medals and take part in a joint celebration that will officially launch the tournament.

The ceremony will bring together more than 4,000 players on the pitch of the home of the Yellow Submarine, creating a spectacular scene that reflects the scale, diversity and spirit of togetherness that define the Villarreal Yellow Cup Summer.
